1、Designed for high-volume production lines, integrating electrical

 performance testing and appearance defect inspection into a 

one-stop solution for comprehensive remote control quality

 assurance. The system adopts a dual-station parallel

 architecture, supporting simultaneous or alternating detection 

modes. Testing overlaps with loading/unloading time, effectively

 reducing cycle time and improving overall efficiency.


2、The electrical performance module accurately measures standby

 current, operating current, carrier frequency, luminous intensity,

 and other key parameters. The appearance inspection module

 automatically identifies defects on front panels, back covers, 

conventional screen printing, laser engraving, missing screws, 

and other surface imperfections. Extensively validated on

 production lines, the system delivers stable and reliable

 performance, effectively replacing manual visual inspection,

 reducing labor costs, and adapting to high-volume 

production demands.

1. Multi-Function Tester (Dual-System) is a compact dedicated
device designed for comprehensive electrical performance and

appearance inspection of remote controls. It adopts a single-system

control architecture and integrates two core modules: electrical

performance testing and appearance defect inspection. The device

features a compact footprint and flexible deployment, making it
suitable for space-constrained production lines or small to

medium-volume inspection scenarios.


2. The appearance inspection module can fully detect various surface
defects on remote controls, including front panels, back covers,
conventional screen printing, special laser engraving, and presence
or absence of screws. The electrical performance testing module
accurately measures key parameters such as standby current,
operating current, carrier frequency, and luminous intensity.
The complete system is equipped with a programmable control
system that enables precise programmatic regulation of supply
voltage, current, and lighting parameters, ensuring consistent
testing conditions and reproducible results. Additionally, it supports

shielding of designated special frequency bands and allows

customization of exclusive testing functions according to customer

requirements.


3. The device features a straightforward and rapid modeling
operation, and completed inspection templates can be repeatedly
recalled, significantly reducing changeover debugging workload
during product switching. The single-system operates stably with
high detection accuracy and reliability, effectively replacing manual
visual inspection, reducing labor intensity, and adapting to small to
medium-volume production as well as laboratory R&D and verification

scenarios.


4. The device's measured production capacity standards are as
follows: In the dual-system 8-slot configuration, the throughput
can reach over 300 units per hour. The system adopts manual loading
and unloading, meeting the quality control tact time requirements
of small to medium-volume production lines.

I. Electrical Performance Testing

  • 1. Battery voltage programmable control: polarity programmable,

  • voltage range 1-12V programmable, supports 0V discharge

  • 2. Main probe head (universal probe head): supports independent re-testing function

  • 3. Auxiliary probe head (multi-function probe head)

  • 4. Standby current detection

  • 6. Carrier frequency deviation detection

  • 7. Emission intensity detection

  • 8. Infrared code transmission receiving test

  • 9. Air conditioner remote control reverse simulation transmission test:

  • the host computer simulates and sends a transmission signal to the slave computer,

  • which then emits the signal through a light-emitting tube to the remote control under test,

  • and the remote control returns an OK/NG signal

  • 10. Front and back power-on function test

  • 11. Defective product self-locking function (optional, mutually exclusive with automatic rejection)


II. LCD Screen Display Content Inspection

  • 1. Detect missing or extra pixels (display defects), minimum detectable area 0.3mm²

  • 2. Detect screen shadows (ghosting/short circuits)

  • 3. Detect foreign particles, minimum detectable area 0.2mm², grayscale difference > 20 levels

  • 4. Detect inconsistent backlight brightness or backlight failure


III. Keypad Silk-Screen Inspection

  • 1. Detect missing or extra strokes on silk-screen characters, minimum detectable area 0.2mm²

  • 2. Detect incorrect or missing colors between silk-screen and keys (colors must have sufficient contrast, not closely matching)

  • 3. Detect presence of fluorescent coating

  • 4. Detect foreign particles, minimum detectable area 0.2mm², grayscale difference > 20 levels

  • 5. Detect small reset keys, hole diameter ≥ 2.5mm, fixture tolerance < ±0.2mm


IV. Back Cover Laser Engraving Inspection / Back Cover QR Code Recognition, Comparison and Storage

  • 1. Detect material mix-up via injection-molded markings

  • 2. Detect missing or extra strokes on non-keypad silk-screen, minimum detectable area 0.2mm²

  • 3. Detect missing or extra strokes on laser engraving, minimum detectable area 0.3mm²

  • 4. QR code recognition

  • 5. QR code database duplicate code comparison

  • 6. QR code data storage (local storage or upload to external systems)


V. Other Technical Specifications

  • 1. Overvoltage output protection: stops output and triggers alarm when voltage exceeds the set value

  • 2. Production capacity: Dual-station without unloader: ≥ 600 pcs/h; dual-station with unloader,

  • back-side inspection not performed: ≥ 500 pcs/h; dual-station with unloader and full front-and-back inspection:

  • ≥ 450 pcs/h; for single-station operation, reduce by 200-250 pcs/h from the corresponding figures above

  • 3. False alarm rate: 8%–15% depending on product type

  • 4. Software-adjustable input voltage: range 1-5V or 1-12V (selectable), minimum adjustment increment 0.05V

  • 5. Automatic NG product rejection: defective units are automatically picked and placed onto the NG conveyor belt at the rear of the equipment (unloader)

  • 6. Software interface requirements: graphical test flow configuration interface, carrier frequency display, supports Chinese/English language switching
