FocusTimeline

FocusTimeline is the embedded show timeline production module within the FocusShow laser performance control

system. As the core of the entire system's show programming, FocusTimeline undertakes the key task of integrating

various materials into a complete laser performance work. It adopts a multi-track non-linear editing architecture,

blending video, music, images, laser shows, special effects, and other elements into one, helping creators connect

scattered material clips into laser performance works rich in narrative rhythm and visual impact.

· In terms of operational convenience, FocusTimeline has been carefully designed. The software does not differentiate

track types; any track can freely add various materials such as images, music, videos, laser shows, and special effects.

Users do not need to switch between different track types, greatly reducing the learning curve. During the programming

process, users can drag content directly from the show pool and effect bar onto the track, or drag existing shows across

tracks to adjust their positions. All operations support synchronous preview output with mouse dragging, allowing

real-time viewing of results without waiting for rendering, truly achieving a what-you-see-is-what-you-get programming

experience.

· In terms of fine programming, FocusTimeline provides multiple user-friendly auxiliary functions. When shows move

between tracks, there is a two-level snap positioning—weak snap helps users quickly align to approximate positions,

while strong snap ensures precise boundary docking. The combination of both significantly improves the programming

efficiency of large and complex shows. The software also supports a From-To range playback function, allowing users to

flexibly specify playback start and end points to preview and repeatedly refine specific segments of the show without

having to play from the beginning to complete detail adjustments.

· In terms of audio synchronization, FocusTimeline has the ability to precisely link with musical beats. Users can add

markers based on the audio waveform, accurately aligning laser show transitions and effect triggers with musical

rhythm points to achieve a perfect fusion of visuals and sound. Whether it is explosive electronic music or soothing

classical music, precise beat alignment can be achieved with the aid of markers, making the visual rhythm of the laser

performance highly unified with the musical mood.

· In terms of multi-document collaboration, FocusTimeline supports the simultaneous management of multiple timeline

documents, meeting the workflow needs of large projects where different show segments are edited separately and

then unified into a whole. More conveniently, users can simply drag the timeline title directly into the show pool, and

the system will automatically generate an independent show, enabling rapid reuse of programming results and

effectively reducing repetitive work.

· Furthermore, FocusTimeline also demonstrates a high degree of flexibility in material management. All materials

imported into the timeline are automatically included in the show pool management, allowing users to call, replace,

or update them at any time without the need for re-importing. Combined with the direct drag-and-drop addition of

basic transition effects such as fade-in and fade-out, the entire programming process—from material import to effect

application to final output—is seamlessly connected and operationally efficient.

· FocusTimeline has 100% independent intellectual property rights from its underlying architecture to its core code,

possessing strong flexible customization capabilities. It can respond quickly to adjustments according to different

application scenarios and user needs, providing solid technical support for the creation of various laser performance

shows.
